Project goal

This project aims to enhance ongoing mental health reform efforts in Ukraine by integrating evidence-based services into primary healthcare and community settings, focusing on addressing trauma and distress, particularly among young people. The specific objective is to support the state and local actors’ efforts to scale up, decentralize and integrate mental health and psychosocial support services by enhancing the access and quality of community-based mental health models.

By supporting the Ukrainian government and local actors’ efforts to scale up, decentralize and integrate mental health in primary health and community-based mental health models, the project contributes to strengthening the resilience and well-being of conflict-affected people in Ukraine, with a particular focus on children and youth.
